I successfully defended my dissertation, "The Changing Trajectories of Academic Careers in the Environments of Team Science"! I will be working as an ORISE fellow at NCSES, and I'm excited for what's coming next.

May 6, 2021

I will be virtually attending and presenting at ISSI 2021. I'm presenting “Stability through Constant Turnover: The Replacement Rate of the Scientific Workforce,” on behalf of coauthors Staša Milojević, Vincent Lariviere, John Walsh, Filippo Radicchi, & Cassidy Sugimoto.

October 31, 2020

I Passed my Qualifying Exams! After a lot of time spent thinking and writing about the effects of a team science environment on the career trajectories of individual scientists, I can't wait to explore these ideas in my dissertation reserach. Many thanks to my committee, Nathan Ensmenger, Staša Milojević, John Paolillo, and Cassidy Sugimoto for their support and thoughful questions.
